Flake Away - DONE!

Hey ladies!

Sorry for the complete lack of posts, i have found myself being lazy after work and just vegging out watching TV.

I also bought a car. A Peugeot 107. I LOVE IT. So I've been out and about in that too.

Well anyway...I finished another product. This one, as the title suggests, is Soap and Glory's Flake Away. This is the 2nd tub that I've gone through since about June. Which isn't bad going considering. The first tub i flew through, used it every day and loved it. This one took a while, mainly because i only have a bath in my house at the moment and i find i exfoliate less in a bath than a shower.

On to the product itself anyway..

What I love most about it, besides its scent, is the fact it is an AMAZING exfoliator. It clears up all dry skin and leaves my legs soft and smooth and without a need to moisturise really.
I use this all over, not just on my legs, because i suffer from really bad dry skin, especially in the past few months. My legs crack and bleed and my back gets so dry its beyond sore. This does really help cut all that down.

Another thing I enjoy about the product is the consistency of it. Its literally like a thick sandy paste and a little really does go a long way. Its tub allows you to decide how much you want or need and it means you can use up every little drop!

And, obviously, it smells like Miss Dior so that's always a winner!

There isn't much i dislike, the only thing i can genuinely think of is the fact the labels fall off the packaging if you leave this in the bathroom...Now I pay for the product itself, but Soap and Glory are renowned for their packaging, so when both tubs had the labels peel away i was less than impressed. But it's only trivial.

All in All i have nothing bad to say. Two tubs down. One more to go, as i bought them 3 for 2 back in June. And I've got another tub from  the Christmas gift set. Smooth skin for me! ha ha

I am so on a roll...Aussie 3 minute mask - FINISHED!

Yes, I know. I am amazing. (lol!)

I have managed to finish up another product already. Although, this is sort of cheating because it only had about 3 uses left when i decided to start this using up products thing.

The Aussie 3 minute miracle mask...

I don't know where to start with this. I love, love, LOVE it.
I think it's one of those products you don't realise you need until you try it and then you can't even imagine going back to not having it in the bathroom.

I bought 2 of these when Superdrug had a 2 for £8 offer on the go. I had never tried it, my housemate in uni loved it and swore by it after going from black hair to blonde. She said it gave her the moisture she needed. So i thought, i wreck my hair, so try it. What did i have to lose?

I went through the 1st bottle like there was no tomorrow and it really helped restore my hair back to life (back when it was long that is). Since having it cut i didn't really use it all that much. Using it up has rekindled my love for it. Its amazing.

It smells incredible, it doesn't weigh down the hair or make it greasy and really makes it feel nourished and cared for. Definitely going to re-buy this.

Have you lot tried it?

Astral - another product finished!!!

I am on such a roll this month with using up products.

I am really enjoying rediscovering old products I have either forgotten about or just never got around to finishing.

Using up this tub of Astral was easy, mainly because I loved it.

I used this mainly as a facial moisturiser. For most people I think that this would e a little too heavy as a facial moisturiser, but for me, with my skin type, it was perfect.

I found that it was a bit too greasy to use overnight and that would break me out. But using this as a regular daily moisturiser, it's perfect.

It stopped me from getting those flakey bits by my eyebrows and on my forehead. It left the rest of skin silky soft and just worked perfect for making my foundation stay on all day.

I've read recently that there is now an Astral light, so I am planning on buying that when the time comes when I allow myself to buy more products.

Have any of you tried it? Did you like it? Xxx

Soap and glory off your face wipes

Hey ladies!

A little review thing for you now.

Tonight I finished my off your face wipes by soap and glory.

I am relatively new to the soap and glory bandwagon. I have tried flake away and obviously, I love it! But everything else is still new to me.

These wipes are meant to be amazing. Well that's what blogs seem to say. Me? I didn't like them.

I didn't hate them. I just...didn't like them.

They didn't really clean my make up off my skin as good as other, less expensive wipes. They definitely didn't leave me with nice soft skin, they left me red and raw if anything, meaning i needed to use even more moisturiser than i usually do.And...they didn't exfoliate like it claims to do. All in all, fail.

They are alright, but that's it. Alright. I definitely wouldn't pay the price for them.

Have you lot tried them? Like them? Xxx

Fcuk whipped body polish - done

Hey ladies.

Only been back blogging all of two minutes and I am already slacking. Go figure!

This post is sort of a mini review, along with being a sort of ten pan too.

I own so many body/bath things that it takes me forever to use things up. So I have set myself the goal of using up as much of my body and bath stuff this year as possible.

I finally used up my fcuk whipped lotion!

This was a reluctant first finish as I bloody love this body butter! Now I can't buy it until I use up others.

What I love the moist about this is how luxurious it feels when you apply it. It's soft and silly and just feels really expensive, almost like its a treat using it!

I had owned this for over a year and had used it for months in uni, but stopped when I moved home-my skin care slacks when I am at home for some reason. Coming back to this tonight was lovely.

The smell is strong, but not overpowering. The formula is rich but not thick. It instantly absorbs into the skin and deals with dry skin instantly. The only (trivial) fault I could find with it is that it is a little bit greasy, which some people may not get on with. But for my skin - AMAZING!!!

In the post

Well look what I got waiting from me when I got home from work!!!
Excited is an understatement.

The ever so lovely Maria over a mariasparkle.blogspot.com got me those lovely beauty's. I am beyond grateful. Thanks so much maria.

I had wanted the opi range for ages. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love Nicki Minaj. I have a slight obsession with her. The bottles are so cute. I had never seen mini opi before and they are lush!!

I am yet to try them out to let you know what I think but I love fly already!!

She also went one step further, being the generous soul she is, and got me the most amazing travel makeup brush set. I love how when you open the box the brushes pop up, it's too cute!! I can't wait to try these out.

Do you lot like the Nicki Minaj range? Please let me know what you think, or if you know any dupes! Xxx
